About Mark Douglas Porta Jr., M.D.
Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I chose Gastroenterology because I enjoy the opportunity to interact and speak with patients on a daily basis. I believe this subspecialty provides both a medical and surgical approach to treatments. The procedural modalities available allow for both treatment and preventative therapies as well. I like Dr PortA he takes good care of me and I also like his nurse Stephanie
Staff was friendly, helpful and caring! Dr Porta explained the importance of having regular BM and not going from constipation to diarrhea. He also had instructions to help.
Wonderful Doctor, PA, and Staff... They're really caring, and knowledgeable.
